The Robotics Team at Kearsarge Regional High School is comprised of an average of 8 or more students ranging from 9th to 12th grade. The average number of mentors involved in the program is 4. Mentors consist of teachers, parents, college students, and community members who are willing to donate time to the program. The Kearsarge Regional High School team is led by Christopher Spooner. Mr. Spooner teaches programming, robotics, and small engine repair at the high school.

The Robotics Team meets after school and on some weekends at the old middle school in New London, New Hampshire. The friendly, self-paced, sometimes chaotic, and always fun atmosphere is both challenging and rewarding. Students and mentors are encouraged to attend all meeting times but are not required to make every meeting, making it more accessible to students who are involved in several activities. The team has something to offer for everyone regardless of skill set or experience level. The time and effort put into working toward a common goal and the feeling of pride and accomplishment helps this group form close bonds and a sense of community. Belonging to robotics fosters critical thinking, thinking outside the box, improvisation, and self-esteem. Robotics in not just for geeks, nerds, and techies anymore!
